The playground in Shevchenko Park

This playground is one of the biggest of its kind and is located in the popular central Shevchenko park. There are both slides and swings for toddlers and children up to junior school age; and for the smallest there are sandboxes. In addition, you can please your child with a ride on a car or a pony, or on a trampoline. In the meantime enjoy the local restaurant and a number of cafes, located in the park.




The playground on Peizazhna Alley

One of the most unique children’s playgrounds in Kiev is situated on Peizazhna Alley, right in the very city centre of Kiev. As well as its great location, it is also popular due to its beautiful mosaic sculptures of various fairy-tale heroes which entertain both children and their parents. The playground itself is constructed in the style of “Alice in Wonderland”, with the Cheshire Cat, Magic Caterpillar and the White Rabbit staring from the top of it. There’s also a second playground constructed specially for toddlers there, with small swings, slides and  a lot of sandboxes. 



The playground on Solomyanska Square

This is also a nice playground which looks like a toy town. It consists of standardized slides and swings and it big and fenced, plus there are a lot of comfortable benches for parents to sit. Another advantage of this playground is the soft carpeted surface which helps to prevent children from being hurt if they fall. And there are also a lot of kiosks where you can buy ice-cream, water or whatever you like.




The playground on Mikhailovska Square

A very unusual children's playground is located on Mikhailovska Square. It was built a long time ago in the form of a castle with a dragon's head, a ladder, slide and swings. Having been newly renovated and repainted, with a new modern section added to it, the playground returned its popularity among children and their parents. It is also equipped with nice sandboxes and  benches standing in the shade of thick trees, as well as flower beds and bronze lions statues. And if you get bored here, you can go and visit St. Sophia’s and St. Michael’s cathedrals, as they are nearby.




The playground on Volodymyrsky Hill

The local playground is small but has a great location on Volodymyrsky Hill, which is always cool and shaded, despite the summer heat. With its wonderful sculptures and beautiful views of the city, it’s a very pleasant place to go. In addition there are a variety of attractions to entertain your child, f.e. a trampoline, a large inflatable slide, cars and ponies, and finally, you can go to the upper station of the Kiev Rope Hoist which is near the entrance to the park and go down to Podil where there are many restaurants, cafes and other interesting venues.
